We have been working hard getting your online courses designed, built and improved:
You have learned how to create online courses.
You have mastered how to use best practices to improve your course content.
You have incorporated tips on how to transform existing courses using a student-centered approach.
You have reviewed how to engage learners once they are in your course.
You have explored how to use brain science to increase your course sales.
You have seen why course completion rates are so important.
What's Next?
If you have created online courses before, this is for you!

Now that you are a master at creating online courses (okay, maybe not a master but you have some experience in it), we are ready to take your eCourses to the next step!
It is time to add more engagement and interactivity in your courses. Your students are probably tired of the same ole' boring video lecture all the time, right?
"Gamification" is a fancy term for adding game elements into your courses. Go take a peek at your child's toy box or think back to the games you had as a child.
Remember these?
Chutes and Ladders
Uno
Slinky
Super Mario Brothers
Simon Says
Don't Break the Ice
Hungry Hungry Hippos
What about these games made them fun?
Competition from others or working alone?
Difficult or easy rules to remember?
They allowed you to learn from mistakes?
They required skill to move on or win?
You were rewarded in the game or by winning?
Game elements (part of a larger field known as Game Theory) is actually a degree and a career. It involves complex design and system thinking as well as math skills like probability. Whoa!
In education, we take "gaming elements" and combine them with psychology. What about games helps people learn? What hinders their learning? How can we increase learning by adding gaming elements?
Although this sounds complex, there are some easy steps you can take to increase engagement and interactivity in your eCourses.
You can can small steps, large steps or run at full speed towards full "gamification". Don't worry, you CAN do this!

That is a huge value for you and a huge investment in your online courses.
There are HUNDREDS of courses out there on how to make courses. How is this one different?
First, it is built by eLearning Elevated. We are a small company of licensed teachers. We all have advanced degrees and years of experience. Our expertise puts us above and beyond the competition.
I (Lynée) have been teaching for 19 years and have a Masters degree in the field. I have built hundreds - yes! literally hundreds - of courses for adults and students.
I have taught blended, online and traditional face-to-face courses. Through my trial and error, you have access to the best practices in the industry.
I am so excited to relaunch this course on a brand new platform - Talent LMS! I am not affiliated with them and will not try to sell it to you. I just love the platform for its many features - especially the gamification goodness it gives teachers and students.
